AltX Ventures is a global venture house that partners with climate-tech focused startups, government entities, corporations, academia and non-profits across six continents. The name AltX signifies any conscious, sustainable alternative to existing incumbents that is also accessible and scalable.

Our Founder, Jinesh Shah, an NYU and YCombinator alumnus, is a serial entrepreneur, advisor & investor having raised funding from prominent investors like Khosla Ventures. Pear VC, CRCM Ventures and NBA Athletes. Jinesh has collaborated with JUST Inc., Good Dot, GFI India & Phyx44 - amongst others. He has also contributed to the 1st Ever Asia Alt Protein Report and India Smart Protein Report.

Prior to his current role, Jinesh accumulated 15 years of leadership experience on Wall Street with Morgan Stanley and in Silicon Valley with Microsoft, as well as with data analytics-driven startups while living across three continents.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jinesh has a background as a national-level collegiate basketball player in India. In his leisure time, he regularly treks the Sahyadris and the Himalayas.
